TYELOR CRAIG JONES'S LIFE STORY

HOUMA – A Celebration of life for Tyelor Craig Jones, 27, will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 10:00 AM at New Rising Sun Baptist Church, 230 St. Charles St. Houma, LA. Rev. Kenneth Jackson, Pastor.  Rev. Darril Prout, Jr. will officiate the service.

His is earthly resting place will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray, LA following the services.

Visitation will begin at 8:00 AM and conclude at 10:00 AM on Saturday at the church.

Tyelor  Craig Jones was born on Friday, February 28, 1997 to the union of Norris Craig Jones and Deborah "Sue" Morgan Jones in Gretna, Louisiana . He was raised in a christian home and lived in Gray, LA.  and had recently moved to Kenner, LA.

Tyelor was educated in the Terrebonne Parish Private and Public School System. He graduated from Terrebonne High School on May 21, 2015. Following graduation he furthered his education at Fletcher Junior College.

Tyelor had a love for playing baseball, fishing, and cooking . His love for his grandmother Mary, known as Maw-Maw was immeasurable. He enjoyed sitting with her learning and trying new recipes. He was known as the "CHEF"  in the family for making his famous yet delicious gumbo, steaks  or whatever you had a taste for. His interest and passion for cooking was so evident that he started cooking , selling, and delivering home cooked gourmet meals , many he made from scratch.

To know Tyelor was to love him for his loyalty, talented, and kindhearted spirit . He was DEFINITELY a mommas boy.

Besides spending time with his family, Tyelor shared a special bond with his cousins, Steve Morgan, Jr., Skylar Bateman, Shane Morgan, Doryon Morgan, Eddie Brown, Jr. and Terry Henderson, Jr.  He acted as protective "big brother" to Norea Williams , Cecily Morgan-Brown (deceased) and Brittany Nicole Short, who were all reared together at Maw Maw's home

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Rev. Albert Jones and Lera Jones; maternal grandparents; Bennie Morgan, III and Mary Louise Brown-Morgan; aunt; Kendra "Noonie" Morgan, uncles; Rev. Karl Jones and Ronald "Cowboy" Morgan , cousins; Cecily Morgan-Brown, Genese Jones, and O'Lera South. Tyelor suddenly transitioned to eternal life on Friday, February 21, 2025 in Kenner, LA. "GONE TOO SOON" .

Treasured memories will forever be embedded in the hearts of his loving and devoted parents, Norris and Deborah Jones; uncles; Steve (Faye) Morgan, Sr., Eric (Patricia)  Jones,Rico (Ariel) Jones , Danny South ,  Aunts ;  Cassino Carter , Lisa Jenson , Diane Jones , Kanolia (Calvin) Ransom, and Tracy (David ) Moore; his beloved girlfriend, Ke'Ira Wilson and adorable son, Kylo Cole Branch ; his god-parents ; Rev. Gerald and Diane Gray, along with Jerry and Paulette Featherstone,  his dog Sadie who he loved unconditionally , (but NEVER took care of. LOL.), extended  family members, other uncles, aunts , god-brothers and sisters , cousins and friends .
