New Iberia - A Memorial Celebration for Tameika Davis, age 47, will be held at 11:00 AM at Davis Family Mortuary Chapel, 802 Weldon Street, New Iberia, Louisiana.

The family may be greeted at 10:00 AM at Davis Family Mortuary Chapel until the time of service.

Tameika Davis was born on Wednesday, February 14, 1979, in New Iberia, Louisiana, to Mable Davis and John C. Davis Sr. — a beautiful soul who entered the world on Valentine's Day and brought love to all who knew her.

On Tuesday, June 2, 2026, Tameika exchanged her earthly suffering for a temple that is now healed and whole. She is reunited in heaven with her paternal grandparents, Leroy and Lyla Davis; maternal grandparents, Rene Wiltz and Lillian Johnson; and other beloved family members who preceded her in death.

A Valentine's baby with a heart full of love, Tameika will be deeply missed and forever remembered by the many lives she blessed.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, cherished deeply by her parents, Mabel Davis and John C. Davis Sr. (Lillian), both of New Iberia, Louisiana; her beloved son, Grant H. Davis; her two brothers, John C. Davis Jr. and Fabian C. Davis, both of New Iberia, Louisiana; sister, Krissy Davis; and a host of extended relatives and friends whose lives she touched with her warmth and kindness.
