Randy Jacob Segura

New Iberia – Private Services will be held at a later date for Randy Jacob Segura, 54, who passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024, here in New Iberia, LA following a brief illness. Private Interment will follow.

Randy was born on Sunday, July 26, 1970 to the union of Melinda Segura (Taylor) and the late Danny Segura Sr. in New Iberia, LA.

He attended the schools of Iberia Parish.  He was baptized as an infant at Our Lady Of The Lake Catholic Church in Delcambre, LA. Working in various fields, he spent several years working offshore. He later began working in the Shrimp  Trolling industry until his passing.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Nicholas Romero, Sr., Gernice Romero, Enus Segura and Ledie Segura.

Randy leaves to celebrate his life, one son, Logan Segura-Darby of El Paso, TX; his mother, Melinda Romero-Taylor of New Iberia, LA; his two brothers, Danny (Holly) Segura, Jr and Jason Segura, both of New Iberia, LA; four grandchildren, Bently Darby, Ellie Darby, Fraya Darby and Declyn Darby, all of El Paso, TX; as well as his nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
