The breath of life was taken from the beautiful Orelia Patrice Duplechan Collins on November 13, 2025. She was 50 years old. Orelia Patrice Duplechan Collins was born on April 11, 1975, in Crowley, Louisiana to Alma Lee Thomas Duplechan and Fletcher Duplechan II and raised in Crowley and Rayne, Louisiana.

She is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Rev. James Thomas and Evelyn Senat Thomas; Her grandparents, Orelia Thomas and Judge Bernard Sr.; Her parents Alma Lee Thomas Duplechan and Fletcher Duplechan II; Her uncles Lyman and Judge Bernard; Three great-aunts Lillie Mae Thomas, Addie Thomas, and Ethel Thomas; Three brothers Fletcher Duplechan III, Nathaniel Duplechan, and Travis Duplechan. A sister. A sister and a brother silently born. A child silently born. Three grandchildren Nevaeh Smith; Kerriana Gibson; and one silently born.

She leaves to cherish her memory, Three great aunts and one great uncle, Eddie Mae Bernard Reese of Lancaster, Ca; Sharon Bernard Rose (Nanny) of Houston, Tx; Nora Jean Bernard of Lancaster, Ca; Henry Lee Thomas (Laura Bell) of Crowley, La. A brother Mark Thomas (Donna) 8 children Darrell Duplechan (Raven); Donnafaye Achan (Errol); Joseph Duplechan; Judosha Goodwin (Ryan); Juvonda Duplechan; Davarkia Duplechan; Juswana Duplechan; Ja'mia'yonna Dugas, 41 grandchildren, two greatgrandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
