Patterson - A private service for Ms. Norma Ann Thomas will be held at a later date as per her family's request.

Norma Ann Thomas, 73, was born to the late Clarence Thomas, Sr. and Stella Johnson Thomas on Wednesday, February 20, 1952, in Patterson, LA. She was educated in the St. Mary Parish school system and was a graduate of Patterson High School. Norma loved to cook, read her bible and be a support to her entire community. More importantly she lived a life of faith. She was never ashamed to publicly share her faith in Christ and pray for anyone whenever called upon. She was an intricate part of the glue that held her family together and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Thomas Sr and Stella Johnson Thomas; grandchildren: Calyn Thomas and Jarmaine Thomas, Jr.; brother, Clarence Thomas, Jr. and sister, Laverne Thomas.

Norma Ann has left her legacy to be carried on by her children: Reva Thomas, Jarmaine Thomas and Russell Thomas all of Patterson, LA and Carey Thomas of Berwick, LA.; sisters: Rudie Mikal and Carolyn (LC) Jack both of Houston, TX, godson, Craig (ReKeisha) Triggs of Patterson, LA, sixteen grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.

While Ms. Norma's community is left with the void of her physical presence; she undoubtedly will be remembered for her unwavering faith and unconditional love.

Ms. Norma Ann Thomas transitioned on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 12:01 PM in Morgan City, LA. She was a life-long resident of Patterson, LA.
