In Loving Memory of Nichole Octavia Locks Guidry

With hearts full of cherished memories, we celebrate the beautiful life of Nichole Octavia Locks Guidry, affectionately known as "Nikki," who was born on Thursday, June 26, 1980, to Alfred Thibodeaux, Jr. and Audrey Jeanie Locks Batiste in Abbeville, Louisiana.

Nikki possessed a vibrant personality that radiated warmth and joy wherever she went. Her passion for living life to the fullest was contagious, and her radiant smile had the remarkable ability to light up every room she entered, touching the hearts of all who knew her.

At the age of 45 on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, Nikki transitioned from this life, reuniting with those who went before her: her beloved husband, Calvin Locks, Jr.; precious granddaughter, Sa'Nai Winn Locks; brother, Anthony Thibodeaux; maternal grandparents, Audrey Batiste, Vorris Locks, and Ludrick Batiste; paternal grandparents, Alfred Thibodeaux, Sr. and Betty Wilson Thibodeaux; and her dear aunt, Connie Thibodeaux.

Nikki's genuine care for others and the deep love she held for those closest to her heart will remain as everlasting treasures, living on in the memories of all who were blessed to know her.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and beautiful memories to be cherished by her children: Jayden Elder of Elk Grove, CA, DeVonta Locks of Richmond, TX, Jon'Travian Locks Elder of Baker, LA, and Jonathan Taylor Elder of Newport, RI; her devoted parents, Audrey Jeanie Locks of Houston, TX and Alfred Thibodeaux of Abbeville, LA; her loving siblings: Shawanna Locks and Youlonda Gilbert, both of Lafayette, LA, Quanetta Gilbert of Murfreesboro, TN, Kellie Levine, Shakinah Briggs, and Lederrian Melancon, all of Abbeville, LA, Dana Farrell-Howard (Arthur) of Slidell, LA, and Antonio Thibodeaux of Carencro, LA; along with a host of extended family and friends whose lives she touched with her kindness and love.

In keeping with the family's wishes, services for Nichole "Nikki" Locks Guidry, will be private. Though our hearts ache with her absence, we find comfort in knowing that Nikki's spirit, her laughter, and her love will forever remain with those who knew her best.
