REMEMBERING LOLLO JOHN FRANCIS, JR.

Rayne – A Celebration of Life for Lollo John Francis, Jr.,72, will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 10:00 AM at New Wine Ministries Church, 308 North Parkerson St., Rayne, LA. Pastor Shelton Clay will officiate the service.

He will be laid to rest in Community Gardens Cemetery in Rayne, LA

Visitation will begin at 8:00 AM and conclude at the time of service at the church on Saturday.

Lollo was born on Sunday, October 5,1952 to the union of the late Lollo Francis, Sr. and Leana Bias Francis in Lafayette, LA. He attended the schools of Acadia Parish and graduated from high school in 1970.  He worked for Capitol Manufacturing as a Machinist for many years.  He was married to the late Gwendolyn Francis and they were blessed with two children.  He later met Sheritha Brown and they were married on June 3, 2023.

Lollo accepted Christ and committed his life to the Lord Jesus Christ and became member of New Wine Ministries Church. He served faithfully until his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Gwendolyn Francis; a daughter, Anna Krout; and two siblings, Gail Francis and Braxton Francis. Lollo peacefully and joyfully entered the Lord presence on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at his residence with his wife at his side. "Servant of God well done"

Lollo leaves those to celebrate his life and cherish his memory include his wife, Sheritha Francis of Rayne, LA; his children, Lollo (Michelle) Francis, III and Gabrielle Brown, both of Lafayette, LA, Stacy Milton of Vinton, LA, Denisha Krout and Zachary Brown, both of Crowley, LA, Dina(Harris) Brown of Tyler, TX, and Monique Williams of Houston, TX; two siblings, Conny Francis of Rayne and Ray (Penny) Francis of Lafayette, LA; twenty-three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
