New Iberia – Memorial Services for Leroy Charles Williams, 55, will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Davis family Mortuary, 802 Weldon St., New Iberia, LA.

Interment will be private.

The family will gather at 9:00 AM at the chapel prior to the service.

Leroy was born on August 6, 1980 to the Mary Williams and the late Levi Wesley in Lafayette, LA. He was a lifelong resident of New Iberia, LA.

Leroy passed away suddenly on August 4, 2026, two days before his birthday at Oschner Lafayette General Medical Center, Lafayette, LA.

Leroy is survived by his two children his long time companion, Ebonae Merritte; three children, Mi’Angel Williams, Ja’Lexis Ledet and De’Quelin; his mother, Mary Williams; his siblings, Geneva Williamsand Horace Williams; best friends, John (Lana) Lebouf, Jero0m,eReed, Blair Vincent and Don (Danielle) Santiago; his grand children and his aunts and uncles, all of which loved him dearly.

The family has entrusted the care of their loved one to the compassionate professionals of Davis Family Mortuary, 802 Weldon Street, New Iberia, LA. and 1302-A Main Street, Patterson, LA
