Delcambre - A service to celebrate the life of Justin Paul Chenet, will be held Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Davis Family Mortuary Chapel, 802 Weldon, Street, New Iberia, LA.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM at Davis Family Mortuary Chapel and conclude at the time of service.

With hearts full of gratitude, we celebrate the beautiful life of Justin Paul Chenet, born on Saturday, December 17, 2011, to Justin Carter and Britteny Chenet in New Iberia, Louisiana.

As a proud student of Iberia Parish, Justin formed a special bond with his teachers and friends. He loved football, soccer, and any outdoor game that kept him moving, yet he also found peace in the quiet corners of the school library. Justin embraced his role as a big brother with sincerity and devotion, often waiting outside to greet his younger siblings as they arrived home from school. His love for his family was unwavering, and he never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed him.

At the tender age of 14, on Monday, June 15, 2026, Justin peacefully slipped away, reuniting with his grandfather, Wilfred Green, and grandmother, Lisa Chenet.

Justin's calm, fun‑loving, and caring nature will forever remain a cherished memory in the hearts of all who knew him.

He leaves to honor his memory his loving parents, Justin Carter and Britteny Chenet of Delcambre, Louisiana; his devoted siblings, Justice Chenet and Dustin Chenet, also of Delcambre; his grandfather, Elroy Carter of Abbeville, Louisiana; and his great‑grandmother, Diane Archangel of Baldwin, Louisiana.

Justin Paul Chenet was a proud member of the Delcambre, Louisiana community, where his bright spirit and gentle nature touched the lives many. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that Justin's memory will forever remain with us, guiding us with the same warmth he shared throughout his life.
