REMEMBERING DINAH DARLENE BROWN

Rayne - A Celebration of Life for Dinah Darlene Brown, 69, on Monday, June 23, 2025 at 10:00 AM at New Wine Ministries Church, 308 N. Parkerson St., Rayne, LA. Pastor Shelton Clay will officiate the service.

Her earthly resting place will be in Community Gardens Cemetery, Rayne, LA.

Visitation will begin at 8:00 AM and conclude at 10:00 AM on Monday at the church.

Dinah Darlene Brown was born on Sunday, August 14, 1955 to the union of the late Carlton Guidry, Sr. and Velma Guillory Guidry in Lafayette, LA, one of ten children.  She grew up in Crowley, LA where she attended Ross High School.

In early her early adult years, she married Frank Brown, Sr, and were blessed four children. In later years, she an her companion Clarence Robinson, Sr. were blessed with two children. She worked White Way Laundry for over thirty-five years. She was later married to the late James Moore for forty years whom preceded her in death.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Anna Krout; five siblings, Carlton Guidry, Jr., Roderick Bobb, Charles Bobb, Ramona Freeman and Joy Nelson; and a son-in-law, Lollo Francis, Jr. Dinah passed from this earthly life on Friday, June 13, 2025 following a lengthy illness.

Dinah leaves to cherish precious memories with her four children, Sherita Francis of Rayne, LA, Frank (Ramanda) Brown, Jr. of Opelousas, LA, Curtis (Connie) Brown of Lafayette, LA and Clarence Robertson, Jr. of Church Point, LA; two bonus daughters, Dana Moore of Buffalo, NY ad Jennifer Moore of Opelousas, LA; three siblings, Matilda Savoy of Crowley, LA, Kelvin Senegal of Church Point, LA and Bentley (Angela) Senegal of Lafayette, LA; three in -laws, Kelly Nelson and Audrey Bobb, both of Crowley, LA and Cassandra Guidry of Jennings, LA; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; her nieces, nephews other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
