DAVIID LEE WASHINGTON, JR.

NEW IBERIA – Private services will be held for David Lee Washington, Jr., 51. at a later date.

David was born on Friday, September 4, 1973 to the union of the late David Lee Washington, Sr and Irene Lockett Washington in Lafayette, LA, one of four children. He attended the schools in St. Mary Parish.  He grew up in Glencoe, LA but later relocated too New Iberia, LA where he has been a resident for many years. David was a Truck Driver for Reinheart Transportation.

David suddenly but peacefully passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2026  in Baton Rouge, LA following a brief illness.

David leaves to cherish his memory and life, three siblings, Ramona Washington of New Iberia, LA, Robert Guidry of Monroe, LA and Keith Washington of Cannelton, IN; an aunt, Faye Bernard of New Iberia, LA; his nieces, nephews other relatives and friends who will miss him.
