St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held for Mr. Clarence Bonin Sr., 70, on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at 5:00 PM Coteau Holmes Recreation Facility, 1804 Coteau Holmes Hwy, St. Martinville, LA.

Visitation will be held on from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Recitation of the rosary will be held at 5:00PM on Sunday at Coteau Holmes Recreation Facility, 1804 Coteau Holmes Hwy, St. Martinville, LA.

Clarence Batiste Bonin, Sr. was born to the late Joseph Bonin Sr. and Angelle Boutte Bonin. He enjoyed camping, crawfish fishing, shooting pool, and dancing. He was proud to dress up and wear his cowboy boots. He loved to tell jokes, care for his wife's plants and really enjoyed his Coors Lite!

In addition to his parents, Clarence is preceded in death by his son, Kyle Jones Bonin; granddaughter, Riley Dauphine; brother, Joseph Bonin Jr, also known as 'Poop"; sister, Cheryl Arnold; and his father and mother in law, Wilson and Ila LeBlanc.

He is survived by his wife whom he loved dearly, Donna, his children Drake Bonin (Samantha), Clarence Bonin Jr.(BJ) and Ila Duchamp (Emile), sisters: Tina Bonin, Melinda Daigle (Ted), Victoria Vicnair (Mike), Bonnie Bonin, Jessica Bonin (Vick) and Kim Horton; brothers: Curtis Bonin (Patricia), Alvin "Bo-Bo" Bonin (Tina), Mark Bonin (Tia), Joey Bonin (Christy) and Scotty Bonin, 17 grandchildren, 2 great-grand children and a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.

Mr. Bonin passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025. He was a resident of St. Martinville, LA. May his life be a memory that will last forever in the lives of those he loved most!
