Bernadine 'Deedie' Wilkerson, aged 72, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 29, 2024, in Morgan City, LA. Born on August 30, 1952, in New Orleans, LA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Schoufer Wilkerson and Eva Brown Wilkerson. Bernadine was one of three children and was predeceased by her brothers, Alvin Wilkerson and Earl Wilkerson.

Known affectionately as 'Deedie,' she leaves behind cherished memories with her two special cousins and caregivers, Deborah (Norris) Jones and Margaret 'Ann' Brown, both residing in Gray, LA. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and other loving cousins.

A Graveside Service to honor Bernadine's life will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Garden Of Memories Cemetery, 3658 W. Main St., Gray, LA. Pastor Darryl Prout will officiate the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Davis Family Mortuary, located at 802 Weldon St., New Iberia, LA 70560.
