Four Corners - A Memorial Celebration for Mr. Barron Keith Davison, 67, will be held on Saturday. October 4, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Davis Family Mortuary, 802 Weldon Street, New Iberia, LA.

The family may be greeted beginning at 12:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home until the time of service.

Barron Keith Davison was born on Sunday, September 7, 1958, to Clifton Davison and Gloria Gibson in New Orleans, La. He was educated in St. Mary parish and graduated from Franklin Senior High School, Class of 1976. During his past time, he enjoyed baseball and was also an avid Dallas Cowboy football fan. He held various jobs including working with "Mama Gussie" at the family diner, working at the local sugar mill and was also employed by Halliburton for a time.

In addition to his parents, Barron Keith is preceded in death by his only daughter, Porscha Jackson; sister, Yolanda Brown; niece, Kristen Davison; paternal grandparents, George Davison Sr. and Gertrude Lee Davison; maternal grandparents, Charlie Gibson, Sr. and Gustavia "Mama Gussie" Jackson; aunt, Adele Gibson Briscoe, uncle, Northern Gibson, Sr and cousin, Gabrielle Gibson.

Barron leaves to cherish his memory his significant other, Cynthia Metz of Lafayette, La; brothers: Barry Neal Davison (his twin) and Gregory Davison (April) both of Baton Rouge, LA, and Shawn Davison of Lydia, LA, sister, Gena Davison of Lydia, LA.; aunts: Genevieve Newman of O'Fallon, MO, and Beverly G. Hill (Dr. Willie) of Amherst, MA; uncles: Charlie Gibson, Jr. of Belleville, IL, Orson Gibson (Carla) of Lafayette, LA, Jessie Lee Gibson of Houston TX., and Ray Gibson (Jackie) of Spring, TX.; brother in law, Lawrence Brown, Jr. of Broken Arrow, OK; nieces: Loran Brown, Loriel Brown both of Tulsa, OK., Larrissa Brown of Thailand and Genae Davison of Lydia, LA.; nephews: Barron Lionel Davison, Sr. (Lawonda) of Tulsa, OK, Ronald (Courtney) of Jeanerette, LA, Craig Davison, Brenton Wesley, and Brandon Davison all of of Lydia, LA., and Kyle Thompson of Grand Marais, LA.; two grandchildren: Paris Joe of New Iberia and Cameron Clark of Patterson, LA; and a host of extended relatives and friends.

Mr. Davison was a life-long resident of Four Corners, LA. He passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.

Honorary pallbearers are Barry Neal Davison, Shawn Davison, Gregory Davison, Andrew Alexander, Allen Sorrell and Eric Metz.
